Great Smoky Mountains National Park

These are views of Great Smoky Mountains National Park when the leaves are just barely beginning to turn to shades of red, yellow, gold, and orange. The views you see were taken just below the Chimneys Picnic Area located five miles from the Gatlinburg entrance to the Park. These photographs were taken in mid-October. As the color change becomes more prominent, photos will be added frequently until the leaves reach their peak at the end of October or early November.
